Why should a Christian student apply to your program?
Our residents learn whole-person care not just for their patients, but also for themselves.
What specific resources are available within your program or community to encourage spiritual growth?
Loma Linda University is a Seventh-day Adventist Christian Organization. We have multiple local churches, including campus churches available. There are both medical student and resident CMDA groups. Faculty and staff come from faith-based backgrounds and we are committed to the spiritual growth of all our residents. We work closely with faith-based organizations including medical strategic networks to help teach and mentor spiritual-based care for our patients.
Do you accept/sponsor visas for international students or medical schools?
Yes -- We transfer international students to J1 visas during residency
