DALLAS - Baylor University Medical Center Family Medicine Residency
A non-Christian residency with like minded Christian faculty passionate about teaching and discipling residents. Particular passion for inner city underserved population of South Dallas as well as preparing residents to hear from God and go, wherever that may be.
Dual outpatient residency experience at traditional private practice and inner city underserved settings with inpatient experience at large tertiary referral hospital. Inner city clinic led by 2 faculty who have intentionally moved into the South Dallas Community to walk out their faith in their community where they work and live. Passionate about creating residents who provide excellent care for the whole person, especially those traditionally underserved by healthcare.
Why should a Christian apply to your program?
To be encouraged in their faith as they are taught and shown how to live out their faith in medicine and life in general. Also, to be challenged to step out of a Christian bubble and live life on mission with other residents, medical students and attendings both locally and abroad. To learn to hear God's calling on their lives and obey.
Do you accept/sponsor visas for international students or medical schools?
Currently, we do not.
